As you know fundraising is a necessary part of any nonprofit. Now more than ever, we need your support in raising money for our program. "Chunks of Change" & “Klinker for Kids” are our major fundraisers each year. The money we collect will go directly towards providing quality child care experiences for your child, meaning purchasing equipment and materials for the classroom, therapists and playground.
What is it? Building our Future is an annual fundraiser to raise money for our facility or therapy and equipment used by the children at Helping Hand. During the fundraiser, participants raise money by seeking donations towards their building. All parents, staff and board members are encourage to participate. Money is raised beforehand via social networks, phone calls, advertisements, and websites.
Our Goal? Our goal is to raise $25,000 during the fundraiser. Every little bit helps.

What is it? Chunks of Change is one of our small fundraisers. Each classroom decorates and displays a change bucket to collect money during the event. Parents and visitors to the centers are encouraged to donate to one or all of the jars. The children love to put money in their favorite jars. The classroom with the most money gets a pizza party!
All money collected is counted and distributed to each of the classroom to purchase needed educational material to use with the children. You may also contribute via the Paypal, Facebook or "DONATIONS" tab above link and let us know which classroom the donation is for.
How can you contribute? Check between the cushions of the couch, under the chair, in the corners, beneath your car seats and bring us your loose change. Ask your friends for their change. Challenge your family to see who has the most change to donate. Put a jar out at your family business or establishment.
Get creative, make it fun for the kids to get involved. Encourage your kids to create and sell their art for handfuls of change.
Start a tradition of giving your kids you pocket change everyday when you get home. After the fundraiser is over, give your child a piggy bank and continue. This is great learning experience teaching you child to count money, learn to save and give back to others.
What is it? Giving Tuesday (#Givingtuesday) has become an annual event to empower people to donate to their favorite local Charites during the holiday season. It was created in 2012 as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past 9 years, this idea has grown into a year-round global movement that inspires hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity. Every year, Giving Tuesday falls on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving.
Last year over $2 billion dollars were donated in the US to charities.
How can you contribute? Monetary donations can be made on our Facebook page and the "DONATIONS" tab above. Helping Hand also accepts in-kind donations of age appropriate new and lightly used toys and craft materials. Volunteer your talents remotely. Unfortunately we have no in-person volunteer opportunities due to pandemic restrictions.
